This piece is made with stones from Lake Superior and sterling silver. The silver is oxidized to get the grey color.
All links are soldered shut.
This stone, along with all the stones in my jewelry, have been found by my husband and myself at Lake Superior. Yes, we spend a lot of time at the beach!
We may have drilled or cut them but otherwise they are un-altered and untreated.
They will absorb some of your oils and deepen in color and take on a beautiful sheen.
I try to find fairly thin rocks and I think you will find them to be much lighter than you would expect.
Each piece is unique.
This piece is a piece of driftwood is not from Lake Superior, it was given to me by a friend and is from the California coast. It’s is all pitted, which gives it a unique texture. It attached to a bezel set grey rock with a line through it and the driftwood is prong set.
It is on a handmade sterling chain with a rock toggle clasp.
This sale is for this item pictured. I do make this style often, but each one is different and a different size.
The chain measures approx. 20 inches and the pendant is about 3 inches long and 1 5/8 inches wide.
The chain length could be changed if need be.
